Belonging Starts Here is a school counseling core curriculum, not a supplemental SEL program. A school licenses one module for one school year — every classroom, K–5 — then renews into the next module in the rotation. By the time a child finishes fifth grade, they've met every module once.
How the rotation works
One lesson a month, with an optional reinforcement track.
Included — Counselor lesson
A full classroom lesson the counselor teaches once a month, ready to present with no prep — slides, a script, and discussion questions built in. Every module license includes this.
Add-on — Teacher reinforcement
A short, ~10-minute activity the classroom teacher runs a few days later on the same theme, so the idea doesn't stop at the counselor's door. Sold separately, on top of the base module license.
Every lesson, whether included or add-on, is tagged to an ASCA Mindset & Behavior standard and a domain — academic, career, or social-emotional.

One school. One module. One year.
A license covers every classroom in a school for a single module and a single school year — there's no per-seat pricing to work out. A school can hold licenses for more than one module at once if they want to move faster than one a year. Districts use the same self-serve checkout, once per school.
The monthly teacher-reinforcement track is the main add-on — the classroom activity a teacher runs a few days after the counselor's lesson, sold separately from the base license. It starts around $100 per module. Exactly what's bundled is still being finalized with the curriculum author.
